Recently, I’ve been eating out way too often. Never got the chance to eat some nice home-cooked meal.
Seasoned thistle with rice. I love this so much. It has it’s unique herb-like smell, a little bit pungent and strong, yet comforting and rich all at the same time.
Dried cabbage soy bean soup (우거지 된장국). It may not have a clean or neat aesthetic, but it tastes amazing. Eating this hot soup on a cold winter day is simply heavenly.
I personally like eating this meal with fried eggs. With a spoonful of thistle rice, fried egg, and some soy sauce on top. Absolutely lovely.
